Over 80 import-export enterprises with more than 60 booths displaying top-quality products in the field of agricultural products and processed foods of Vietnam are present at Anuga, the largest trade fair for the international food industry will take place in Cologne, Germany.

Implementing the National Program on Trade Promotion, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Trade Promotion Department organized a business delegation to attend the Anuga 2023 from October 7 to October 11.

This is also an important activity under the program to build a national brand strategy for Vietnam's food industry to build and promote a common, unified image for Vietnam's food industry in the international market, increasing awareness and recognition on an international scale of Vietnamese products, building a reputation for the quality and value of Vietnamese commodities, optimizing added value for food production and processing in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Vietnam's Pavilion at 2023 Anuga, taking place on the morning of October 7, Vu Ba Phu, director of the Trade Promotion Department, said that participating in this fair, the business delegation of Vietnamese enterprises have the largest scale ever with over 80 import-export enterprises, including more than 60 booths displaying top quality products in the field of agricultural products and processed foods of Vietnam. In particular, many of them have achieved the Vietnam National Brand.

In order to keep up with the "green, sustainable development" trend that is being strongly welcomed by EU and German customers, Vietnamese businesses bring to this Anuga 2023 many green and organic products, produced according to environmentally friendly standards such as spices, vegetables, rice, honey, and coconut.

“The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam believes that actively participating in the world's most prestigious and high-quality fairs such as Anuga, will not only help Vietnamese export enterprises expand their markets, seek new business opportunities through direct access to reputable buyers from around the world, but also creates good opportunities for businesses to promptly update market trends, learn practical experience to improve and improve product quality and increase competitive advantage in the international market," said Phu.

Over 7,800 exhibitors are present at the world's leading food and beverage trade fair Anuga which kicked off on Saturday.
