Neither Don Village nor Pu Luong is noisy, and they both have the wilderness of a peaceful countryside. Even though they are turning to tourism, local people still maintain the tradition of wet rice cultivation and handicraft making. When coming to the village, the favorite spot for young people to take photos is the "S" road. This is a small road gently winding through fields fragrant with rice and grass, which becomes a highlight of this destination.
In addition to exploring rice fields and the "S" road, visitors to Don Village can also admire traditional stilt houses with unique architecture that are hard to find in Thanh Hoa.
