“Ambassador of Art” concert in Da Nang shines the light of Vietnam-Russia friendship

(VNF) – The Da Nang Union of Friendship Organization recently joined hand with the Center of Russian Science and Culture in Hanoi, the Russian Consulate in Da Nang to hold a concern themed “Ambassador of Art”, to mark the 28th National Day of Russia (June 12, 1990-2018).

Russian artists from the Saint Petersburg House of Music, including award-winning pianist Anna Groth and violist Polina Borisova, performed at the event.

Vice President of Da Nang municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; Russian Consul Brovarets Andrei and Consuls of Laos, China and other delegates from diplomatic bodies in the city attended the event.

Speaking at the concert, Russian Consul in Da Nang, Brovarets Andrei, noted his impression about the Vietnamese version of the Russian songs performed in the programme, and extended thank to the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization, the Center of Russian Science and Culture in Hanoi, the Consular of Russia in Da Nang and the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Opera House for hosting the event.

According to Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Commitee, Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, the concert was a meaningful event, since the Russian artists making it happen were truly the ambassadors of arts. Their performance have brought to Da Nang the beauty of Russian culture and the affection of the people, which helps keep the fire of traditional friendship burning strong through the test of time./.
