AP11 Concludes, Hanoi Action Plan 2023 Adopted
The 11th Asia-Pacific Regional Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies held a closing ceremony in Hanoi on Nov. 23, during which delegates adopted the Hanoi Action Plan - 2023 to call for humanitarian actions that benefit vulnerable people in the region.

In her closing remark, President of the Vietnam Red Cross Bui Thi Hoa emphasized the need to use the knowledge and experience together with a new and creative approach to take responsibility to turn the Hanoi Action Plan2023 into useful actions that benefit vulnerable people in the region. |

The workshop emphasized the importance of continuing to protect, support, and empower those in need to become stronger. It is necessary to continue to strengthen partnerships and capacity for each national society to shoulder humanitarian missions in the era of digitalization and greening. |

During the Conference, delegates discussed challenges and opportunities, concern for equipping and protecting vulnerable populations, practical experiences, and new solutions and approaches in humanitarian work. |
