This is the first wide-body aircraft in the agreement between Bamboo Airways and Boeing, opening the series that will continuously come to the fleet in late 2019 and early 2020.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is one of the most economical aircraft in the world, with high safety and durability, reducing noise and emissions affecting the natural environment. Cabin of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is designed to create maximum comfort for passengers with more comfortable space.

Compared to similar aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner consumes 20% less in terms of fuel cost and 30-40% less in terms of maintenance cost. Accordingly, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner can fly the long distance up to 13,950km.

Immediately after joining Bamboo Airways' fleet, this Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will be operated on domestic routes such as Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoi/ Ho Chi Minh city - Da Nang. In the coming time, this will be the main aircraft to exploit Bamboo Airways' medium and long routes to Asia, Europe and America, connecting Vietnam with countries such as Japan and South Korea, Czech Republic, Australia or USA, etc.
