According to reporters, constituency no.5 (Hon Khoai island group) welcomed 223 voters joining the poll.

Voters in Hon Chuoi eagerly went to the constituency early in the morning.

142 of them were workers in Ha Do and Thai Son companies who were doing construction work in the Hon Khoai island group. 81 of them were officers, soldiers, and island guards, including forest rangers, Hon Khoai border guards, coast guards, lighthouse station staff, radar 595 station staff.

Voters had their body temperature checked and must fill in medical declarations before entering the election sites.

Constituency no.5 in Tan An commune, Ngoc Hien district had lists of 15th National Assembly candidates in constituency no.3, Ca Mau People's Council candidates in constituency no.14, Ngoc Hien district People's Council candidates in constituency no.2, and Tan An commune People's Council candidates in constituency no.4. In total, it had 21 candidates running for National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

At exactly 7:30 a.m, Tan An commune's Election Committee (Ngoc Hien district, Ca Mau province) held an opening ceremony for the Hon Khoai island group's constituency at the election site in Hon Khoai Border Post.

Right after the opening ceremony, voters began to exercise their rights and obligation as citizens, wisely choosing representatives who were qualified to shoulder the responsibility in the new term.

According to Huynh Tuan Kiet - Deputy Head of Hon Khoai island group Forest Ranger Unit, Ca Mau province, voters here were supposed to arrive at the mainland to vote, however, authorities had created favorable conditions for holding polling in the island, to the satisfaction of the voters.

Voters carefully studied the list of candidates before voting.

Voter Quach Van Le (Ha Do company's worker who is doing construction work in Hon Khoai island group), who participated in the National Assembly election in Hon Khoai island for the first time, excitedly said: "I am pleased to have a chance voting here. I believe in the vote and hope to choose the most excellent delegates for all-level elected agencies. At the same time, I hope that the elected delegates will utilize their wisdom and morality to contribute to the country's development"

According to Trinh Thanh Trung, Chairman of Tan An commune Election Committee, in order to fully prepare for voters to join the election, preparation work from listing candidate lists, arranging tables and rooms for polling to decorating the ceremony was done quite methodically and in accordance with regulations.

At the same time, pandemic prevention at the election site was also strictly implemented by the commune's Election Steering Committee in accordance with the direction released by Ca Mau People's Committee Chairman, which focuses on the 5K measures, such as checking body temperature, washing and disinfecting hands, wearing masks and ensuring distance.

In general, Hon Khoai's early elections took place successfully as planned and achieved absolute safety.

Meanwhile, despite busy taking care of a little child, voter Truong Hong Mo went to Hon Chuoi's voting site pretty early. Mo said that propaganda on election procedures was very informative, so people came to vote quickly and in accordance with regulations.
