The Hanoi Ceramic wall is one of the major projects that were developed on the occasion of the Millennial Anniversary of Hanoi City which is an art project covering a length of 4 kilometers, covering an area of 6,950 square metres of the wall.
The wall is located on the dyke wall parallel to the road connecting the main access road to the Noi Bai International Airport that connects the old quarter of Hanoi and the newly developed area in the city. This mosaic wall is the largest mosaic art in the world and it received recognition in October 2010 by Guinness Book of World Records for the longest mosaic mural in a public space.
The mosaic mural was originally an idea by Thuy and received full support from the city’s authorities.
With a length of 1,100 metres, the concrete wall on Nghi Tam street in the future will have about 300 metres long for works that show the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and international friends.
