Those who suffer from the conditions potentially face a lifelong disadvantage from birth. Statistics show that one in every 500 children suffers from the condition

In 2015, Operation Smile, a community health organisation operating in 62 countries, will bring relief to 2,000 patients across the country by providing free check-ups and treatment.

Operating in Vietnam over the past 25 years and conducting 26 surgery programs annually, Operation Smile has indeed brought the smile back to some 38,000 Vietnamese children./.
