The series is broadcast on its channels across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
The project is being executed under a cooperation agreement signed in December 2016 between CNN and the Hanoi authorities for the 2017-2018 period, with the aim of advertising the history, rich culture, superb cuisine and daily routines of the Hanoians to the world.
Accordingly, the CNN agreed to produce a series of 30-second promotional videos, three and five-minute reports and a 30-minute programme on Hanoi.
Of which, the 3-5 minute short videos will initially be broadcast 40 times in total on CNN Today before they are rebroadcast on CNN News Stream from October 30 to November 3. The 30-minute special program will be aired 12 times on November 3, 4 and 8.
Columns featuring Hanoi, such as ‘Hanoi: Heart of Vietnam’ and ‘My Hanoi’, are also to be published on CNN.com, Facebook and Twitter, along with promotional banners./.
