Compassion House - John Donovan Project Supports 10 Great Solidarity Houses in Tien Giang

From May 12 to 14, the Tien Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cai Lay District and local authorities, held a handover ceremony for 10 Great Solidarity Houses to poor households and families facing housing difficulties.

Each house received funding support of US$ 2,000 (approximately VND 51 million) from the Compassion House - John Donovan Project, with the remaining amount contributed by the families themselves.

In addition to handing over the new houses, John Donovan, together with his associates and local authorities, also visited families who have benefited from the project in recent years. During these visits, he offered encouragement, shared in the families’ experiences, and congratulated them on their development achievements and stability in life.

Through the Tien Giang Union of Friendship Organizations, the Compassion House - John Donovan Project has supported housing for poor and disadvantaged households in the province over the years, contributing to the local government's social welfare efforts. In Cai Lay District, the project is now in its fourth year, with a total of 34 houses built. Each year, 10 houses are constructed, with each receiving sponsorship of US$ 2,000.
