Following is the full text of the congratulatory letter.

Dear Comrades,

On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations' Traditional Day (November 17, 1950 - November 17, 2024), on behalf of the Party Union and the leaders of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, I extend my heartfelt best wishes to the members of the Presidium, leaders of member organizations at the central and local levels, and the entire team dedicated to people's diplomacy within the Union's system.

I wish to express my deep gratitude to the previous generations for their significant contributions to Vietnam's people's diplomacy, both during the struggles for national independence and reunification and in the ongoing efforts to build and defend the Fatherland. Their achievements have laid a strong foundation for our development and remain a source of pride for the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations.

In promotion of its tradition and implementation of the Resolution of its 6th National Congress of Delegates (2019-2024), the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations has continuously strived for new developments under the close direction of Party and State leaders; the coordination of departments, ministries, branches, and localities; along with political determination, solidarity, and unity across its system from central to local levels. The Union has affirmed its core role in people-to-people diplomacy, together with Party diplomacy and State diplomacy in contributing to the overall successes of Vietnam's diplomacy, including high-level foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders, and effectively implementing the foreign policy of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Proud of its 74-year tradition, the entire system working in people-to-people foreign affairs within the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, both at central and local levels, are united and focused on building and consolidating the organizational structure, improving the quality of the staff, innovating approaches and methods of foreign affairs activities, and expanding its network of partners. These efforts are geared towards enhancing the operational efficiency of the Union, preparing for the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations' 7th National Congress of Delegates (2025-2030), and making significant achievements to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. These endeavors contribute to the country's entry into the "new era, the era of nation rise," as directed by Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
