A live concert staged by musicians from the Hanoi and Da Lat brass communities kicked off the festival, attracting a large number of festival-goers.
Artists from the Kosmos Opera group also performed excerpts from Mozart's most popular opera The Magic Flute on the evening of the festival's opening day.

This is the first time that the city dwellers of Da Lat have a chance to enjoy these paintings.
Pianist Tran Le Bao Quyen and violinist Tran Le Quang Tien performed as a part of the exhibition opening while a talk with exhibition curator Nguyen Nhu Huy will take place on March 13.
Nguyen Tu Nghiem (1922-2016) is considered to be one of the four most influential painters in 20th-century Vietnam. He was renowned for his experimentation with new materials in lacquer painting and his success with oil paintings, pastels, and watercolors.

A grand final concert will be performed by the participating artists along with artists from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and Vietnam Youth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of conductor Phan Do Phuc at Da Lat Opera House.
Da Lat was recognized as a UNESCO Creative Music City last October. The organization of the classical music festival will promote the city's actions to preserve and develop different music genres.
In Vietnam, Hanoi was the first city to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2019.
UNESCO launched the Creative Cities Network in 2004 to promote cooperation among cities that recognize creativity as a significant factor in their development. The network recognizes seven factors – craft and folk arts, media, film, design, gastronomy, literature, and music – as creative fields.
