“Through the annual art performance, we hope for communities’ sharing for the victims to help them integrate into society,” said Nguyen Thi Hien, President of the city Association of Victims of Agent Orange.
The amount of money raised is expected to be spent assisting AO victims in communities and providing care, vocational training and rehabilitation to 150 AO child victims and unfortunate children at 3 foundations.
Since the beginning of this year, the association is building a 20-bed boarding house for extremely disabled children where boarding care and physical therapy will be available. In addition, the association is expanding the city centre for sauna and rehabilitation. The two constructions, which cost nearly VND4 billion, are expected to be completed by mid-2016./.
