The purpose of the forum is to propose policies to support the development of inter-regional and inter-national tourism in an effective and sustainable manner; as well as contribute to promoting cooperation in cultural tourism and developing suitable tourism products to lure more international tourists, especially after China reopens its borders to foreign tourists.
Earlier on September 3, the delegation of Da Nang had a working session with leaders of Henan province.
Triet expressed his delight at visiting and working in Henan province. He also sent his thanks to leaders of Henan province for their respectful welcome, especially for inviting Da Nang to attend the 2023 International Mayors' Forum on Tourism.
