Da Nang gears up for Sea Festival 2019
Preparations in the central city of Da Nang are stepping up with the city planning to host the Sea Festival 2019 between April 26 and May 1 during National Reunification Day, which falls on April 30, and May Day, May 1.
The festival is poised to include a wide range of culture, art, sport, and tourism activities with hundreds of local people and foreign tourists expected to take part in the festivities.
A string of perse activities will be held at sites across the city such as Bien Dong Park, Lang Ong tourism site, Son Tra peninsula, and numerous beaches in Da Nang City.
A photo exhibition showcasing bio-persity will be held on Son Tra peninsula.
Some of Da Nang City’s famous beaches will host a kite flying and sand statue making competition.
In addition, a number of art performances are being scheduled which will see the participation of famous singers take part in the event.
