This tourist area is located in Hoa Hop commune, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh province, about 100km west of Dong Hoi city center. The way to the waterfall is easy so tourists will not have to worry about getting lost.

From Dong Hoi city center, tourists travel along the Ho Chi Minh Road about 108 kilometers. Then, they can continue to move on the trail with rubber forest on both sides and peaceful village scenery for about 200 meters to reach Mo Minh Hoa waterfall.
From above, Mo Minh Hoa waterfall appears like an ethereal sight. The water pours down and overflows each stone step, creating waterfalls with white foam, stretching far and wide like a fairyland. Tourists can visit Mo Minh Hoa waterfall in Minh Hoa district at any time of the year but summer is ideal, which is from April to August. During these months, although the temperature can reach 39 - 40 degrees Celsius, at the waterfall area, visitors will enjoy cool, fresh air completely different from the temperature level of only about 25 - 26 degrees Celsius.

Another delicious traditional food is Chao Hau (Oyster soup). After being cleaned, fresh oysters are stir-fried with onions, pepper, and chili.
