Miss Friendly Duong Thuy Linh received invitation letter from the organizing board of Mrs Worldwide 2018 a month ago.
The Mrs Worldwide 2018 pageant is set to get underway in Singapore and Malaysia on June 20-24.
This is the first time Vietnam has sent a representative to compete at the beauty contest.
The 35-year-old Duong Thuy Linh won Miss Friendly title in Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 pageant.
Her evening gowns at Mrs Worldwide 2018 are prepared by designer Audrey Nguyen.
Designer Kenny Thai designs her national costume.
Linh now works as a TV emcee and runs her own business.
