The General Secretary and President of Laos expressed high regard for the contributions of the Fronts and Friendship Associations in strengthening and fostering the people-to-people relations between the two nations. He emphasized the necessity for both parties to further enhance current frameworks, engage in active information exchange, share insights, and provide mutual assistance for collective progress; intensify people-to-people exchange, particularly by educating the youth of both countries to fully comprehend and sustain the two countries' unique bond of solidarity.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Lao Front for National Construction have engaged in numerous effective cooperative activities, consistently exchanging delegations and sharing experiences in their operations. A highlight of the collaboration between the two nations is the program organized by the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association to sponsor Lao students in Vietnam. This initiative provides them with moral support, opportunities to connect with Vietnamese families during holidays and Tet, and assistance when needed. For 2025, the Association aims to choose approximately 100 Lao students with outstanding academic records in Hanoi and Thai Nguyen for cultural exchanges with Vietnamese peers, visits to historical landmarks, and meetings with Party and State leaders to foster encouragement and deepen the bonds of friendship.
In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front is also working to have more publications in Lao to serve propaganda work, providing further knowledge for the people of the two countries, especially the younger generation, about the special relationship between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, General Secretary and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, expressed high regard for the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the friendship organizations' role in fortifying bilateral ties.
