Exhibition About Hoang Sa Inspires Youth in Quang Nam
The week-long exhibition is hosted by the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Regional Command 3 Navy and the People's Committee of Hoang Sa district (Da Nang city).

Taking place at the Provincial Cultural Center (Tam Ky, Quang Nam), it introduces 152 documents and images on 3 main topics. The first topic is the establishing Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago, with a map of Hoang Sa Island District in English and Vietnamese. The second one is displays of people protecting Vietnam's sovereignty over sea and islands in the current period. The last topic shows youth community in Quang Nam and Da Nang and theirr affection towards sea and island.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on June 5, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Quang said that this exhibition bring diverse and rich images of sea and islands to the public, especially the young generation. He believes this meaningful activity will foster the love, pride, consciousness and responsibility of the next generation towards the sea and sacred islands of the Fatherland.

According to the three main topics, there are documents and images selected by the Organizing Committee to show the importance of management and protection of sovereignty over strategic and important waters and islands of the Fatherland, directly in the sea. They are taken from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh; including Con Co, Ly Son, and Hoang Sa islands, and the 3rd Naval Region Command.

There are also many images of fishermen's activities, activities on the sea and islands of Quang Nam youth. The goal is to raise awareness about Vietnam's sovereignty over sea and islands, demonstrating the viewpoints, mottos and solutions to fight for sovereignty protection over the sea and islands of the current Party and State.

A visitor, Vo Thi Nhu Yen (Tan Thanh ward, Tam Ky city) said that her family appreciate the rich and valuable images and materials of the exhibition because these are historical and legal evidence collected in Vietnam and from countries around the world, including from China. They proves Vietnam's indisputable sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes.
"The images of soldiers and fishermen clinging to the sea day and night, maintaining the sovereignty of the sacred Fatherland aroused in me emotion and national pride. deep," said Tran Thanh Tinh, a young resident of Tam Ky city.
