Famous chefs to cook Thai finest cuisines for Hanoian diners
(VNF) - Starting today, the Thai cuisines week will be kick started in Hanoi. The event is organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Vietnam, the Thai Department of International Trade Promotion in collaboration with Thai Airways International and Melia Hanoi Hotel.

During the week, well-known Thai Chef Professor Chayanit Prampate will use her hand-picked ingredients and finest recipes to introduce to Vietnamese people the quintessence of Thai gastronomies.
According to Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Manopchai Vongphakdi, what makes the Thai Cuisines Week distinctive is the participation of four famous chefs from the Country of Smile, adding that the Thai Cuisines Week will introduce to Hanoian people and those from the nearby provinces both savory dishes and sweet dishes which have long been the pride of Thai culinary art.

"Besides what Vietnamese people have been familiar with like Tom Yam Goong or Green Curry, the event will introduce other Thailand's traditional cuisines, and some of the new dishes crafted by the creativity of our talented chefs", the ambassador noted.
The event will be open from today, July 14 until July 20 at the Hanoi Melia Hotel, 40 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hai Ba Trung Dist, Hanoi.
