First Overseas Vietnamese Junior Talent Show Held in London
The final round featured performances by 27 contestants from eight European countries. In the Piano Category 2, 14-year-old pianist Hoang Kim Gia Bao (from Hungary) was crowded the winner. Bao said he participated in the contest because this is an event to connect the Vietnamese community in Europe so he was surprised and honored to competing against other talents.

Accodring to the Head of the organizing committee and founder of the Hamy Academy Pham Ha My, V-Stella 2023, held for the first time, aimed to seek Vietnamese music talents, perserve the Vietnamese language among the community, and promote classical music among the overseas Vietnamese audiences.
It was also an activity marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam - UK diplomatic relations, said Pham Ha My. The London-based Hamy Academy was honored to host the competition for such special occasion and hoped that V-Stella would become an regular event.
"We want the contest to create a professional and healthy music playground, supporting young musical talents, honoring and preserving traditional culture among generations of young Vietnamese in Europe," exclaimed Ha My.
V-Stella is expected to be held every two years, creating opportunities for contestants to assess their abilities and challenge themselves on the path of becoming professional artists. While V-Stella was held for the first time, the contestants in both piano and vocal competitions was very skilled, especially those in the piano department.

To qualify for the Live Final Round in London, 27 contestants went through two rounds of online competition where their video auditions were selected by the Jury. According to Vocal judge Jitka Svobodova, singer of the National Theater of the Czech Republic, the talent and performance quality of the Vietnamese contestants were very impressive.
Meanwhile, Piano judge Nguyen Anh Tung, PhD in piano performance, University of Oregon (USA), saw that the contestants had prepared well and made great progress after the three rounds of competition over the past 6 months.
As the results, in the four contest categories of V-Stella 2023, the first overseas Vietnamese Talent Show for young Vietnamese in European countries, crowded three First prizes, four Second prizes, five Third prizes and two Honor prizes.
