For the Vietnamese community in Mozambique, this was a particularly significant event, demonstrating the development of a growing Vietnamese community since Vietnam reopened its Embassy in 2009 and the Viettel Group invested in its mobile network in the East African country.
The wedding was co-organized by the Movitel company and the Vietnamese Embassy in Mozambique at the headquarters of Movitel company with the participation of the Embassy staff, staff of the company as well as their African colleagues.
"We have been in Mozambique for two years to date and love each other. There are sometimes difficulties, but overcome to have a happy day today. I am very happy and proud to say that I am happy and lucky," said bridegroom Tran Xuan Nghia.
Mozambican friends attending the wedding now understand more about the customs and culture of the Vietnamese community./.
