Pendolino Emma Chiara: First time donating blood

When the lecturer announced that I would go to Da Nang, specifically Dong A University, for 3 months to study and research, I was excited. This is the first time that Dong A University and the University of Lille implemented a student exchange program. None of us had been to Danang, so everything was new and exciting.

Every day, I go to school from 7:30, then study, research as well as participate in exchanges at cultural events organized by the school, such as the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival, the Open Day.

I often go to the library and share my experience of studying in France.

I determined that the purpose of my time here is to study, research and exchange cultures, to tighten the solidarity between the two schools. Therefore, I always strictly implement the exchange contents.

What I find most interesting, is that I overcame my fear to participate in blood donation activities for the first time. When I stood in line with my friends waiting for my turn, I was nervous and believed that this would be a beautiful and memorable experience.

Viale Lukas Titouan: We explore the beautiful city

Thanks to the opportunity at Dong A University, I had the opportunity to learn about the culture and people of Da Nang. I usually finish a day of study at 5:30 pm, and then go to the beach, and explore the city.

Before coming here, I spent time exploring Da Nang via the internet so that I could quickly integrate. Even so, I was still overwhelmed by Vietnamese street food, beer and coffee culture. What's more fun is that, even though we don't speak Vietnamese, don't fully understand Vietnamese culture, but the friendliness brought everyone together.

During the study period, we were able to participate in field trips to learn and exchange expertise with local businesses. For me, this is probably the most memorable semester. I hope the good memories will urge me to come back to Da Nang, back to Vietnam as soon as possible.

Bondoni Jeanne: The friendliness and kindness of Da Nang people

We are the first group of students selected by the University of Lille to participate in a training exchange program with Dong A University. Therefore, I am always aware that I must complete the task well.

Initially, I felt quite pressured because I did not understand the culture and people of Da Nang, as well as the training environment in Dong A University. However, this apprehension quickly disappeared, when we were warmly welcomed by the school and facilitated to participate in study and research in related departments and faculties.

For the past 3 months, everything has been going smoothly, and we are happy about that.

During my stay in Da Nang, what I felt was the friendliness and kindness of the locals, even though I didn't understand Vietnamese, didn't know anyone before.

At school, I received a lot of help from my friends, from how to approach documents, and use artificial intelligence platforms to carry out the research project "How GPT Chat is applied in fashion".

In public places, local people showed me the way to the addresses highlighted in red on my tourist map of the city. With these beautiful experiences, after finishing the study program, our group will spend time traveling to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and some other provinces and cities of Vietnam before returning to France.
