Gun salute and firework displays to celebrate National Day
The capital of Hanoi will organise a military gun salute and firework displays to mark the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2nd).

Accordingly, the army will do a 21-gun salute at the flag raising ceremony at Hoang Thanh Thang Long (the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long) and high-range firework displays will be organised at five places: Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake.
The largest-ever parade will be organised at the Ba Dinh Square as one of the key activities of the anniversary celebrations.
On this occasion, Hanoi will arrange an array of activities such as Hanoi Autumn Music Festival and the 2nd Hanoi Open Bicycle Racing around Hoan Kiem Lake.
As planned, a preview for the whole celebrations will be held on August 28th and the official ceremony will take place on September 2nd./.
