Hanoi has three leading attractions in Vietnam

The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and Vietnam Women’s Museum in the capital of Hanoi have won the title “Vietnam’s leading tourist attractions” in 2014.

The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and Vietnam Women’s Museum in the capital of Hanoi have won the title “Vietnam’s leading tourist attractions” in 2014.

Together with the three spots in Hanoi, two others awarded with the title were My Son relic in Quang Nam province and Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort in Da Nang city.

Hanoi has three leading attractions in Vietnam

The most important criteria for the selection was based on the service quality provided by the tourist attractions. In addition, the proposal of localities and suggestions made by travel businesses contributed to the result of the selection.

The “Vietnam’s leading tourist destinations” award is part of the Vietnam Tourism Awards which honor organizations and inpiduals who have contributed positively to the development of tourism in Vietnam. They contribute to asserting the position of tourism in the national economy, enhancing global integration and promoting the image of Vietnam tourism abroad.

The Vietnam Tourism Awards 2014 were presented to 75 leading tourism businesses in 10 categories such as five-star hotels, 10 four-star hotels, 10 business enterprises in domestic travel, one travel agency operating the guided street food tours in Hanoi, three serving tourist restaurants, one serving tourist shopping and three serving tourist stops./.
