Stepping into Hanoi Pride, love is the first thing everyone notices. No one hides their smiles. Gazes are full of encouragement. And Hugs are given without hesitation. These affections urge us to realize our humanities mission from the first days of inception: to erase prejudices and discrimination against the LGBTQ community in Vietnam, to create a safe space, and to celebrate difference, courage, compassion, respect, and love.
With over 7 million residents, Hanoi is home to million faces and loves of all colors. Hanoi Pride 2018 hopes to celebrate this persity of love.
The event is expected to contribute to erasing prejudices and discrimination against the LGBTQ community in Vietnam.
