The program lasts from November 2024 to December 2026, with the total funding of over VND 3.8 billion, equivalent to 159,934 USD, from the VinaCapital Foundation (VCF).
The program supports funding for congenital heart surgery for children with the motto "All children with congenital heart disease must be treated promptly". |
The program aims to screen and detect congenital heart disease in children from birth to 18 years old in Da Nang City. Costs for congenital heart surgery will also be sponsored with the motto "All children with congenital heart disease must be treated promptly".
Specifically, about 75,000 children in the city will be screened for early detection of congenital heart disease and 105 children will be supported with heart surgery costs. Thereby, they will gain more chances in growing up in normal life, while improving their family's economy by reducing the burden of medical care costs.
