Helvetas Vietnam Supports Cultivation of Export Organic Peppers in Quang Binh
The training program is organized by Helvetas Vietnam in collaboration with the Management Board of the Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation (VFBC) project.
During the course, participants are equipped with knowledge about the principles of organic agricultural cultivation, understanding the advantages and disadvantages of organic agricultural production, the purpose and practice recording field diaries and production planning and soil preparation techniques before planting peppers.

The VFBC project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Helvetas Vietnam to promote conservation-friendly production and business for forest-dependent communities.
The Project has promoted connections with an export business and international customers to survey the growing area and commit to purchasing the product.
It is expected that after being trained and converted to organic farming and assessed for USDA organic certification, organic pepper products of Hung Trach commune will be exported to the international market.
