Within Hue Festival 2018, on May 1^st, an Ao dai fashion show entitled “Hue Vang Son” was held at Bia Quoc Hoc Square in the old capital of Hue. It is the event most looked forward to at each Hue Festival.

The Ao dai Fashion Show of Hue Festival 2018 continued its target of honouring the elegant and smart beauty of Vietnamese Ao dai. To prepare for this year’s great event, fashion designers spent much time and efforts conveying floral patterns on Hue imperial city.

The event introduces 400 new designs by well-known Vietnamese fashion designers, including Ngo Nhat Huy, Viet Hung, Minh Hung, Thieu Vy, Nguyen Tuan, Bella Moda, and Chau Minh Trieu.

The fashion show helps audience find out the history of the formation and development of the Vietnamese Ao Dai in general and traditional Hue Ao Dai in particular.

Over 400 Ao dai designs were performed by models from Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City, including Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh. All created a charming festive night.
