	Celebrating 35 Years of Ho Chi Minh City Union Of Friendship Organizations

It is an occasion to honor the independence and freedom of Hungary as well as to celebrate the special milestone of 74 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. On this day, members of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam - Hungary Friendship Association had the opportunity to meet, exchange, and share experiences.

One of the highlights is a report on the remarkable results of the Association in recent years that emphasized the positive cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary.

"Today, we not only celebrate Hungary's National Day but also celebrate the strong relationship between Vietnam and Hungary. We are proud of our successful cooperation projects in many fields and look forward to continuing to expand cooperation to bring practical benefits to both parties. Vietnam has always considered Hungary as an important partner in economic development and expanding cultural exchanges,” said the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam-Hungary Friendship Association Le Minh Triet.

Over the past time, the Association has made many positive contributions to people's foreign affairs. It always focuses on expanding and developing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary. Through activities, it has introduced the image of the country and people of Vietnam to Hungarian friends as well as to international friends.

Triet stressed that the Association is committed to continuing its efforts in further promoting the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the coming time, supporting members in exchange, learning, and development opportunities. With such vision and determination, the Association will grow stronger and make positive contributions to the development of Vietnam-Hungary relations, which will develop better and better, worthy of the comprehensive partnership that the two countries have established since 2018.

At the event, the Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City Lehocz Gabor said that this occasion marked a testament to the harmony between the two peoples despite the geographical distance. The foreign diplomat affirmed that the Hungarian Government is very interested in promoting the traditional relationship with Vietnam in the field of education and training. It will continue to provide full scholarships every year to Vietnamese students, interns, and doctoral students, of which one-third of these scholarships are reserved for students of Ho Chi Minh City and those of the Southern provinces.

Also, the Consul General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City is committed to efforts to develop and continue the friendship between the two countries through cultural, technological, and economic exchange activities.

The friendliness and deep affection of the Vietnamese people will be the basis and motivation to further promote the consolidation, expansion, and development of cooperation between the two sides effectively.

There were dances and songs performed in Vietnamese and Hungarian at the event. A special program to introduce and demonstrate Rubik's - an intellectual sport originating from Hungary also took place.
