“Vietnamese Cultural Night” Impresses Hungarian Friends
On November 3, the self-governing authority of District 4 of Budapest, Hungary collaborated with the Hungarian Association for Culture to organize the "Vietnamese Cultural Night" at the cultural space of the district to introduce culture, tourism, and Vietnamese cuisine.
The program was attended by the Ambassador of Vietnam to Hungary Nguyen Thi Bich Thao, leaders of District 4, Mr. Botz László - Chairman of the Hungary-Vietnam Friendship Association and other leaders of the Association, Vietnamese Associations, Unions, and businesses in Hungary and many Hungarian writers, intellectuals, and people living in District 4.

In her opening speech, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Thi Bich Thao expressed her thanks to the leaders of District 4 of Budapest for close coordination with Vietnamese associations and businesses in Hungary in organizing the "Vietnamese Cultural Night".

This event aims to introduce a "journey", a slice of culture for Hungarian people to better understand the country of Vietnam with nearly 100 million people, which is rising strongly and developing rapidly, integrating with the world and having an increasingly high position in the international arena, while also being one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Asia today.
The program is a practical and meaningful activity, not only helping Hungarian people better understand the cultural, artistic and culinary values of Vietnam but also tightening the cultural cooperation between Vietnamese Embassy with District 4, Budapest, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Hungary with a history of more than 73 years, upgraded to Comprehensive Partnership since 2018.

The program took place in an intimate, cozy atmosphere, attracting many Hungarian friends, intellectuals of District 4 of Budapest, and the Vietnamese community in Hungary to attend and enjoy diverse art performances together such as a conical hat dance on the background of the song "Vietnam, my homeland", ao dai performance, rice drum dance performed by the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary, Hungarian folk songs, classical "Hungarian Dance" performed by Hungarian musicians. Guests also explored Vietnamese cuisine with traditional dishes sponsored by a Vietnamese business in Hungary - Vinvin restaurant, leaving many indelible impressions on Hungarian friends.
In particular, the photos and videos of a beautiful, peace-loving Vietnam are vividly recreated through the perspective, contemplation, and sentiments of Mr. Benolat Belo, a Hungarian friend who is close to and loves Vietnam, through his experiential trips in many cities and provinces in Vietnam.

The art performance and cultural exchange "Vietnamese Cultural Night" took place successfully, ending with many deep feelings in the hearts of Hungarian friends about the friendly Vietnamese people, and at the same time being a great proof of the exchange, solidarity, and enthusiastic cooperation of Vietnamese associations and businesses in Hungary and Hungarian friends in preserving and promoting the good traditional affection between the two peoples.
