Ideal Fireworks Viewing Spots for Young People in Hanoi
Hanoi will organize high-altitude fireworks combined with low-range fireworks to welcome the Lunar New Year 2023 in 7 areas. This event will take place on New Year's Eve, January 21 (December 30 of the lunar calendar). Many young people are looking for places with good views to watch the fireworks and count down to welcome the year of the cat.
The high-range firework will light up the sky at the Hoan Kiem Lake in Ba Dinh District, Thong Nhat Park in Hai Ba Trung District, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho District, Van Quan Lake in Ha Dong District, and My Dinh National Stadium in Nam Liem District.
It will be the first time since the Covid-19 outbreak that Hanoi authorities will organize fireworks displays in the city's 30 districts to welcome the Lunar New Year, just as they did before the pandemic.

The area of Hoan Kiem Lake takes place every year a countdown music festival, so the number of people flocking here is expected to be very high. Most likely the participants will be young people. This is an ideal opportunity for them to sit in good positions to watch fireworks and enjoy spectacular performances.

Thong Nhat Park and Lac Long Quan flower garden are great places to watch the annual fireworks of Hanoi. Therefore, these areas will also be crowded but may be less crowded than the Hoan Kiem lake area.
Van Quan lake (Ha Dong) is expected to be equally crowded. Usually, this is a place where many young people choose to chat and date. There are many cafes with lake views and even outdoor seating by the lake. Many people find such locations extremely convenient for watching fireworks.

Located on the outskirts of Hanoi, Son Tay's ancient citadel is a place that will not be too crowded on New Year's Eve. People can comfortably enjoy the countdown atmosphere. This is also the right place for those who want to celebrate a traditional and nostalgic Tet.
On New Year's Eve, the number of people flocking to places to watch fireworks and music festivals will be especially high. To ensure fun and safety, people should equip themselves with the necessary skills to escape the crowd such as: - Search and memorize the exit. - Watch for signs to identify danger in the crowd. If you don't touch anyone around, it means the crowd density is not too thick, and everything is fine. - As soon as you feel uncomfortable with the surrounding space and notice that the space is getting smaller and smaller, leave as soon as possible. - Make sure to keep your balance when you are stuck in a crowd. If you fall and can't get up immediately, lie down in the fetal position to protect yourself. - Don't try to go against the crowd, but go with the "flow". - Don't scream, hold your breath and find a position high enough for you to look around for the best exit. |
