(VNF) - In preparation for the 3rd International Day of Yoga scheduled in Hanoi in June, the Indian Cultural Center is launching an Yoga rehearsal program starting from May 9. Specially, training will be provided free of charge.

To ensure synchronized and safe group performance of hundreds inpiduals in International Day of Yoga (IDY) , rehearsal is indispensible and compulsory.

Following thorough preparation in 2016, this year, the Indian Embassy continues to provide participants of IDY free rehearsal class coached by certified experts.

Schedule (with two options) is as following:

After-office class (18 pm - 19 pm): Monday - Friday, May 9 - June 15

Lunch-break class (13 pm - 14pm): Monday - Friday, May 22 - June 15

The IDY 2016 attracted thousands participants and spectaculars (source: CPV)

The IDY (June 21) was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2014.

The event features a live demonstration and yoga class conducted by professionals. A series of lecture demonstrations will also be held as part of IDY.

In 2016, IDY in Hanoi attracted nearly 2,000 participants and spectaculars, of which 800 people, including the Ambassador of India to Vietnam Harish Parvathaneni, taking part in the group Yoga demonstration./.
