Vietnam appreciates the great support of the Indian people during the past struggle for peace and the present national defense and construction.

"I still remember the image of thousands of Indian people pouring into the streets to support the Vietnamese resistance war, chanting the slogan "Your name, my name, our name, Vietnam! Vietnam!" As our late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong once said, the Vietnam-India relationship is "as clear as a cloudless sky," Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga recalled.

She said that ISCUF and VUFO have had many years of cooperation. The ISCUF regularly sends delegations to visit Vietnam. Cultural visits and exchanges are opportunities for the two countries' relations to develop and for for the people of the two countries to further understand each other.
