I came to Vietnam in 2018, but no matter how many times I come here, I am still impressed by the story of President Ho Chi Minh - a man who played a significant role in the history of Vietnam and the world.
Despite his great contribution, his personal life was so humble and simple. He lived in a small and simple room, from which many interesting, important, decisive thoughts and ideas about Vietnam and the world came alive.
Since its liberation, Vietnam has played an important role in the world peace movement. Not only winning the war, Vietnam also earned many achievements in national development, bringing people's life to a new height. Vietnam's achievements in various fields show that Ho Chi Minh's wishes for the country are becoming reality.
It is important that the young generation of Vietnam and Cuba will understand the value of peace, the sacrifice of their fathers and brothers, and the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba.

Visiting the mausoleum, I become emotionally touched by Vietnam's revolution under the great leadership of the Communist Party and uncle Ho Chi Minh. Ho Chi Minh's thought of peace is imbued with humanity, stemming from the deep sentiment for humanity and aspiration to bring peace and happiness to all people regardless of race, religion, or class.
He wants to maintain dialogue and settle disputes by peaceful means, which made him a true soldier for peace. I pay my tribute to Ho Chi Minh for his contribution, successfully completing the revolution, for social justice, for the well-being of the people, and for socialism in Vietnam. I admire Ho Chi Minh as he shares similarities with many Bangladeshi leaders, who are also inspired by his thoughts about peace.
Ho Chi Minh always believes in logic and science, and now if we apply his humanity, logic, and respect to the law, we can resolve many disputes.

Peace is not only in the absence of war but also in the effort to ensure that people have a dignified and meaningful life. When learning the history of Vietnam, I am impressed with President Ho Chi Minh. Visiting his mausoleum, I was touched to observe with my own eyes the room where he lived and worked during the war. It helps me better visualize his life.
We have a lot to learn from Vietnam's path to socialism. It is a lesson about the strength of national unity, and the resilience to achieve an independent and free life. We can also learn a lot from Vietnam's history to realize that people have the right to enjoy freedom and to take control of their lives.

I am impressed with the solemn and emotional atmosphere that Vietnamese people and international friends have for President Ho Chi Minh. I could see many children and international delegations lined up to visit his mausoleum.
President Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam's resistance wars inspired the Norwegian people in the 20th century. Ho Chi Minh's thought on peace is significant. His ideas live on.
I have been in the peace movement for 50 years. In dealing with tension, I believe that we cannot accept the use of weapons or coercive actions but peaceful means, and dialogue.
Mozzafar Hossain Paltu - President of Bangladesh Peace Council
I have visited Vietnam twice, but this is the first time to visit President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum and his stilt house. The artifacts of his daily life at the house are impressive to me. He lived a simple life, like ordinary people, which would be difficult to imagine if I don't have a chance to see it with my own eyes.
