They played folk games, or visited the stalls showing the scenes of rural markets, enjoyed many traditional dishes, and harmonized the melody of joyful spring songs.

For his first time in Vietnam, Swiss student Astor shared that he was impressed by the vibrant, warm and friendly atmosphere of the Tet holiday. The most interesting activities that Astor joined at the festival were Vietnamese folk games and drinking Vietnamese tea.

On the other hand, Nishijima Haruyuki from Japan liked "O An Quan" game. Out of the three times that he played, Haruyuki won all of them.

Nishijima Haruyuki shared that he already learned a lot about the Vietnamese culture for celebrating the Lunar New Year, so he was excited to experience it first-hand at the festival.
Another international student, Bernhard Arnold from Germany, also shared that he learned a lot about Vietnam's traditional culture thanks to the festival.
"I think Vietnamese Tet traditions are very interesting. It is great to know more about the culture of Vietnam," said Bernhard.
Dr. Tran Huu Tri, Head of the Department of Vietnamese Languages and Culture, ULIS, hoped that the International Spring Festival 2025 not only gives each international student a warm feeling but also helps them gain more understanding and affection for the country and the people here. He believed programs like this would help international students become closer, building bridges for cultures around the world.
