The French Consul General Emmanuelle Pavillon-Grosser said that 2023 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership between France and Vietnam.
Therefore, the dynamic role of firms in this relationship is important. Especially, in the context of post-Covid-19 recovery, the training of human resources and recruiting future talents has always been a concern of businesses.
It is estimated that French companies created nearly 50,000 jobs in Vietnam. In addition, the Francophone community also formed the France Alumni Vietnam network since 2015. It now has more than 6,000 members, helping to exchange and discover new career opportunities.
This helped to increase the number of French speakers in Vietnam to 200,000 people with 37 Francophone training programs. Currently, there are nearly 65,000 people studying French in Vietnam.
In 2022, Business France accompanies more than 200 French enterprises wishing to develop business activities with Vietnam, making the demand for labor in the homeland quite high.
According to Adam Koulaksezian, executive director of French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV), talent search and human resource management are strategic tasks for all CCIFV member companies.
Many French companies operating in diverse fields in Vietnam, such as hotels, services, consulting, industry, transportation, cosmetics, are looking to recruit hundreds of new employees.
“Companies are also looking for candidates including young workers who just graduated, specialized workers and highly specialized workers at the management and expert level,” said Adam Koulaksezian.
