Jump into Green Algae Season at Tri An Lake

Tri An Lake is artificial lake located on the Dong Nai River, which is responsible for storing water to supply the Tri An growing plant (Dong Nai). There are many species of fish and algae here. The boats of the fishermen here often leave from the previous afternoon until the next morning

In recent years, green algae in the bed of Tri An lake (Ben Nom, Dong Nai) has grown rapidly. Algae appears in the summer, from July to September. The lake bed is covered with algae, the water turns an eye-catching green color when viewed from above.

Fishing boats on Tri An lake are anchored close together around the shore to dry nets. The brown strip of land, contrasting with the green color of the algae, creates a picturesque scene.

Ben Nom Hamlet is about 100 km from the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors can move along National Highway 1A, then turn in the direction of National Highway 20 or take the highway to save a lot of travel time. They can continue to move to Tri An Lake and find the area with the most algae to admire.
