Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Nguyen Vu Tung said that KVFFA 2021 is a meaningful and practical event on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea. The event further deepened the process of cultural exchange, helped enhance mutual understanding, and promoted the people-to-people exchange between the Vietnamese community in Korea and the people of the host country.

According to Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung, although the Covid-19 pandemic is still complicated and this is the second time KVFFA had to organize a part on an online platform, the event also shows that the two countries can together overcome the pandemic, and difficulties to further develop the friendship.

Jong Min-woo, head of the Organizing Committee, also insisted that the organization of KVFFA 2021 in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic is a great effort of the two countries, showing that the strong relationship between Korea and Vietnam continues to be consolidated under all circumstances.

This 3rd KVFFA event was held after overcoming many difficulties such as being delayed due to the pandemic. Executive director Jong Min Woo said: “This KVFFA event is an event conducted on the cooperation platform of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, the Korean representative of the tourism organization." He hoped that this would be a bridge for cultural exchange between Korea and Vietnam.

The promotion of Vietnamese and Korean cultures through the Fashion Festival will help connect ideas to create "cultural empathy" between the two nations.

Vietnam Tourism Ambassador to Korea Ly Xuong Can sent a congratulation letter to the event, emphasizing that it not only shows the level of cultural and artistic exchange between the two countries but also symbolizes the friendship, and close exchanges between the people of the two countries.

Through the performance of Vietnamese Ao Dai and Korean Hanbok, the event wants to promote the unique cultural beauty of the two nations. The fashion festival in 2021 also has the added meaning of marking our gradual return to daily life, restoring all aspects of society's activities.
