Following the success of 2022, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Vietnam and the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam cooperated to organize the 2023 Korean Cultural Road Festival with many experiential activities on April 22-23 in Hanoi.
This year, the festival highlighted the image of Busan as this city has been organizing a campaign to host the World Expo 2030. The stone road area behind Korean Embassy, which attracts people to take photos, was decorated with images of Busan’s Gamcheon mural village, to create a diverse and interesting space for festival goers.

The festival included many activities promoting Korean culture such as trying on hanbok, introduction of tourist attractions and traditional crafts, promotion of small and medium enterprises' products, learning how to make Kimchi, Korean culture quiz, and traditional games from the Land of Kimchi.
This year’s festival featured booths introducing a range of Korean products such as fruits, ginseng, nutritious drinks, mixed noodles, tokbokki, and other traditional Korean dishes.
In addition, the audience also enjoyed a special art performance program and a qualifying round for the K-pop Lovers Festival in Hanoi.
The first "Korean Cultural Road" festival was held in 2022, attracting thousands of visitors. To celebrate the upgrading of Vietnam-South Korea relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (December 5, 2022), the Korean Embassy held this year's festival on a larger scale.
Pham Thi Lan Huong said that her family let their children come for weekend entertainment, but through this experience, they felt excited and decided to travel to Korea this year.
