Korean Locality Sponsors the Disabled in Phu Yen

The latest aid worth VND 2.5 billion by Korean locality Gyeonggido to Phu Yen province helps to improve the quality of education for primary schools and support the disabled in the area.

Recently, the two districts of Tay Hoa and Tuy An (Phu Yen) have spent a total aid of about VND 2.5 billion sponsored by Korean Gyeonggido province to purchase 1,200 sets of student desks and chairs, nearly 70 sets of computers for 13 primary schools and more than 120 wheelchairs for the disabled in the two districts.

This is the latest support from Gyeonggido province for Tay Hoa and Tuy An districts, further strengthening the cooperative relationship on socio-economic development between Phu Yen and Gyeonggido.

13 primary schools in Tay Hoa and Tuy An districts have received new sets of tables and chairs from Gyeonggido province.

The support of Gyeonggi province helps to create secure and spacious classrooms well equipped with furniture and computers, thereby improving the quality of teaching and learning of schools in the two districts that meet the criteria on education in the goal of building new countryside. The aid also contributes to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and local communities.

Computers and equipment sponsored by Gyeonggido are very practical, meeting the need to access information technology elementary students, and supporting the locality to achieve the goal of quality and comprehensive education and promoting learning opportunities for all subjects in the area.

Thereby, it also helps the local authorities of Tay Hoa and Tuy An districts to take care of the material and spiritual life of students and all subjects, including people with disabilities, to participate in training activities and in improving international cooperation skills.
