The article highlighted the recent effective implementation of cooperation projects and agreements between the two countries in various fields. High-level visits and exchanges at different leadership levels have been regularly conducted, and defense and security cooperation has been increasingly developing.
Both sides consider the Vietnam-Laos border a peaceful and sustainable development border. Additionally, economic, trade, investment, technology, cultural-social, educational, and tourism cooperation have been increasingly enhanced, providing practical benefits to the people of both countries.
The article also spotlighted that General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith highly appreciated President To Lam choosing Laos as the first country to visit in his new role.
Vietnam and Laos have outlined the direction and cooperation plans for the upcoming period, agreeing to continue to strengthen close coordination to implement comprehensive cooperation in all fields, especially political, diplomatic, defense-security, economic, trade, investment, infrastructure connectivity, technology, cultural-social, educational, and tourism cooperation.
The outcomes of President To Lam's state visit to Laos are expected to significantly contribute to strengthening and developing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries’ Parties, States, and people.

According to the SBM.News, President To Lam stated that Vietnam consistently implements a trusted friendly policy with Cambodia based on comprehensive cooperation, good neighborliness, and a shared history of fighting common enemies. These remarks were made during talks between the Vietnamese State President and President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Senate Samdech Techo Hun Sen, on the afternoon of July 12. He also stressed the value of the two countries' existing bilateral cooperation structures at all levels, particularly in promoting people-to-people ties.
Kampuchea Thmey, a Khmer language newspaper, highlighted the commitment between the two countries to strengthen and expand cooperation for the benefit of the people and the two nations during the talks on July 13 at the Peace Palace between President To Lam and Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet.
Accordingly, the Vietnamese State President affirmed that Vietnam and Cambodia would continue to strengthen cooperation based on the motto of good neighborliness and cultural similarities. He emphasized the commitment to strengthening and expanding Vietnam-Cambodia cooperation in all fields for the benefit of the people and the two countries.
It noted that Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized the necessity to further strengthen and expand Cambodia-Vietnam cooperation.
In addition to high-level meetings, Cambodian media also reported on other activities within the framework of the Vietnamese State President's visit to Cambodia, including a meeting with the President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association Men Sam An; a meeting with the Cambodian Alumni in Vietnam Association (CAVA); a visit and speech at the Royal University of Phnom Penh; and the activities of the high-level Vietnamese delegation members and related events.
