Made in Vietnam 2023 - Leverage to Bring Vietnamese Goods to Australia

As an effective support department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in foreign areas, Vietnamese Trade Offices abroad in recent years have been assessed to have performed well in the task of connecting trade and finding opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to access foreign markets. In addition, the Vietnamese Trade Offices abroad have proactively discovered and coordinated with units under the Ministry to support businesses in removing trade barriers and be solid support for Vietnamese businesses abroad.
To promote connection activities between the Vietnam Trade Offices abroad and ministries, branches, localities, associations, and import-export enterprises across the country, from July 2022, the Industry and Trade sector has periodically organized monthly trade promotion conferences with foreign markets. This is an activity that receives special attention and focus from leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Implementing the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in the first 9 months of 2023, the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia proactively and actively coordinated with several departments in the Ministry to deploy a series of trade promotion activities domestically and in the area of responsibility.
According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia, Vietnam, and Australia are common members of at least 3 free trade agreements. Therefore, this is a bridge to export more to Australia’s market, especially agricultural products, frozen foods, and textiles. On the contrary, many Australian agricultural products are being promoted in Vietnam and consumers have more choices.
The Vietnam Trade Office in Australia believes that the highlight of trade promotion and trade connection is the "Made in Vietnam 2023 in Australia" promotional program, hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in Australia in coordination with the Vietnam Trade Office within the framework of the 2023 Economic Diplomacy program.

The "Made in Vietnam" event not only has the meaning of country-of-origin marketing and promoting exports but also mobilizes Australian businesses to invest in Vietnam and produce Vietnamese products, to create a driving force for trade growth in the new period, after exceeding the set turnover target.
During the first 9 months of 2023, the Vietnam Trade Office in Australia has many times organized a series of events "Made in Vietnam 2023" in Australia. Typically, from April 30 to May 2, the Trade Office coordinated to organize an exhibition of 100 agricultural and aquatic products of Vietnam at Australia's largest international fair; organized agricultural product trial events such as: Trying frozen pineapples, frozen bananas, frozen jackfruit, frozen passion fruit, frozen durian, instant foods...
Along with these activities, recently, the Trade Office also coordinated to launch of the Made in Vietnam Promotion Week in Melbourne in May 2023, in the fields of supporting industries, energy.
