Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed a decision establishing the Managing Board for the Ba Den mountain national park tourist area in the southern province of Tay Ninh.

The establishment is based on the foundation of reorganizing the Managing Board for Ba Den mountain cultural history, landscape and tourism relic under the Tay Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Managing Board for Ba mountain culture and history forest under the Tay Ninh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Managing Board for the Ba Den mountain national park tourist area is a public service unit with revenues under the Tay Ninh People’s Committee. It is responsible for helping the provincial People’s Committee preserve, restore, embellish and develop the area.

In addition, it also assists to protect natural resources, restore and preserve the intact ecosystem and the biopersity of the forest of Ba Den mountain as regulated by the law.

The PM asked the Tay Ninh People’s Committee to assign the detailed function, missions, authority and organizing structure of the Managing Board.

Located in Thanh Tan commune, Tay Ninh city, Tay Ninh province, about 110 km northwest from Ho Chi Minh city, Ba Den is the highest mountain of Vietnam’s southeastern region and has spectacular natural scenery, cave systems and ancient temples./.
