Moscow hosted International Children's Day for Vietnamese children

The International Children’s Day (June 1st) organized by the Vietnamese Women’s branch on May 30th in the Moscow Trade Center attracted nearly 300 children from overseas Vietnamese families in Moscow.

The International Children’s Day (June 1st) organized by the Vietnamese Women’s branch on May 30th in the Moscow Trade Center attracted nearly 300 children from overseas Vietnamese families in Moscow.

At the event, overseas Vietnamese children enjoyed jolly games and performed songs and dances.

"I am moved to see that the Vietnamese women’s branch in the Moscow Trade Center organizes helpful activities for children. This is a good opportunity for us to learn and unite together to overcome difficulties we may have in life on foreign soil and together build the community stronger," said Mr. Chau Dinh Nguyen, Minister Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy to Russia.

On this occasion, children with excellent academic achievements were also presented certificate of merit and awards.

According to Ms. Pham Thi Kim Oanh, Head of the Vietnamese Women’s branch in the Moscow Trade Center, the branch had spent 15 days in preparation of the gifts and favourite food dishes for the children so that they would have a happy and memorable day./.
