Vietnam has been officially confirmed as the host country of Mr World 2024, with the event scheduled to take place in September. The announcement was published on the beauty pageant’s official page, VOV reported.

Most notably, a number of beautiful destinations across the country were introduced in a two-minute video clip published on the beauty pageant’s website on March 18.

This offers a golden opportunity to stimulate Vietnamese tourism, as well as popularizing national cultural identity to international friends. Currently, the venue for Mr World 2024 taking place in Vietnam has not been announced.

Mr World 2024 contest will take place in September

In line with this, Sen Vang Entertainment Company, which has the rights to organize Mr World Vietnam, will be the host of the competition. The organizing board of Mr World Vietnam 2024 is currently receiving applications from contestants aged 18 to 27 from now to May 2.

The winner of the contest will be awarded VND 200 million (USD 8.067) and will go on to represent the country at Mr World 2024.

The first and second runners-up will receive VND 100 million (USD 4.033) and VND 50 million (USD 2.016), respectively.

Mr World Vietnam will also offer a number of sub-prizes, including MR. Sport, MR. Fashion Model Award, MR. Talent, Beauty With A Purpose, MR. Ao Dai, MR. Veston, MR. Fitness, and MR. Media Award.

It also was just announced that circus artist Quoc Nghiep, whom with his brother holding the world record with their head-to-head balancing act blindfolded, will take on the role of the next judge of Mr World Vietnam 2024 with Miss Luong Thuy Linh, Miss Do Thi Ha and supermodel Ho Duc Vinh.

Quoc Nghiep said this was the first time he took on the role of judge in a beauty contest for men and accompanied other beauty queens and famous artists to find the Mr World who had all the elements representing Vietnam to the international arena.

Regarding scoring criteria, Quoc Nghiep said that to be a Mr World representing Vietnam in the international arena will require many factors from appearance - mindset - foreign language to social activities. According to him, those are necessary elements that can easily make a difference and leave a mark.
