Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi has been ranked 83rd among top 100 best airports in the world by UK-based consultancy firm Skytrax.

This is the second year Noi Bai Airport is voted in the top 100 of best airports by Skytrax. It was ranked above Budapest Airport in Hungary, Birmingham Airport in the UK and Los Angeles Airport in the US.

Noi Bai Airport was ranked 82nd in top 100 best airports for 2016, and 218th for 2015. It earned the title of Most Improved Airport last year for the huge jump.

The services at Noi Bai Airport have been improved since last year with various upgrades to improve the capacity of the airport.

It was estimated that Noi Bai Airport would receive 20 million passengers a year by 2020. However, it already received 17 million passengers last year. It is expected to receive 19.4 million passengers this year. Both domestic and international terminals are overloaded.
