North-South twin train suspended over coronavirus fears

The suspension is planned to last until April 28, leaving only 4 twin trains departuring from both ends to remain active, namely SE1/2, SE3/4, SE5/6, SE7/8.
Those passengers owning tickets of twin trains SE9/ SE10 on suspended days can get their tickets returned or exchanged free of charge.
Due to the suspension, the railway sector starts to adjust the operation time of SE1 train to Hanoi, Phu Ly, Nam Dinh station starting from March 25. Accordingly, SE1 train is rescheduled to depart from Hanoi at 10:15 pm on a daily basis, Nam Dinh at 11:49 pm and stop to pick up passengers at Ninh Binh station at 0:22 am.
Meanwhile, the train stations from Thanh Hoa province to HCMC still terminate at HCMC station at 5:45 am, no operation time change reported.
The Hanoi-Yen Bai YB3/YB4, which is normally in operation on Saturday and Sunday will also be put in suspension. Particularly, the suspension will be applied for YB3 train in Hanoi and YB4 in Yen Bai, starting from March 28 and March 29, respectively. Besides that, there are no more twin trains operating the Hanoi to Lao Cai route.
Earlier, the railway sector had halted a massive of twin trains due to lack of passengers.
Some twin trains had just been exploited on weekend.
