The night market is expected to be tested in daily operation from 18h00 to 23h30 with three areas for souvenirs, brocade products of ethnic minority groups and Sapa cuisine.
The night market will not only contribute to promoting the image of Sa Pa tourism, but also help to create jobs for households with business demand; meeting the increasing shopping demands of both foreign and domestic tourists in Sapa.
Night markets have been opened at numerous tourist attractions nationwide such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city, Ha Long and Nha Trang.
Recently, Tuy Hoa night market has opened daily, with booths mainly featuring local cuisine and specialties.
In June, Phan Thiet had a night market launched for the first time at the centre of a new urban area, near Doi Duong./.
