Total tourist arrivals to the central coastal city of Da Nang in the first half of 2015 reached an estimated 2 million, a year-on-year rise of 25%, reported the municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

This figure included 600,000 foreign tourist arrivals, up 33% against the same period last year.

Over the past six months, the coastal city had an additional 478 service providers with over 17,600 rooms, up 3,400 over a year earlier.

Currently, Da Nang has 198 travel companies with nearly 1,800 tour guides./.
